I own 2 acres of land and my kids ride 4 wheelers on it. I have had some neighbors complain to the police about the noise. So today they showed up and threatened to fine us with disorderly conduct since we have no noise ordinance in our township. They are on private property that has signs up stating this. They are not intentionally trying to inconvience anyone.
So can I be charged with disorderly conduct when i am not in a public place? Please help because I think my kids have a right to ride on our own property.
