Personal Bankruptcy Discharged debt

Account discharged in a chapter 7 bankruptcy the person is still trying to collect on a debt. It has been 4 years since the bankruptcy was filed, and this was not disputed before being discharged. I did a credit check on myself and found that this person has been on my credit report as a open collection. After working hard to reestablish my credit, can I take this person to court and if so would I have any chance in winning. Please help.
