I was sued by a credit card company and I won the case. I later got phone calls from their attorney asking for payment. I told he I won the case and he said let me check then said have a nice day and hung up. the next day i got another call from them on my machine but nothing since then. They are still repoorting it to the credit reporting agencies though. Isn't that defamation? I invented a new device and want to get a patent on it but i need a loan and I applied twice but was denied because of this. That's loss of income. I have 2 questions. Can i sue them at my own local county courthouse? and If so how much do you think I can get?
