I am involved in a very bitter custody battle with my daughter's father. I was at a very busy resturant eating this past weekend, when his father approached myself and the gentleman I was speaking to at the time (not a date, just ran into him there) and said very loudly, "You better wear a rubber because if you get her pregnant, she won't take care of her baby." I was shocked and so was the man I was speaking to. I want to file some sort of charge against him, but am not sure if it is defamation, slander, harrassment or what. I have an attorney, but he wants no part in it because I have limited resources, so I will be doing it on my own. I am so afraid they are saying bad things about me in front of my daughter...
