Corporate Law Debtors hell

I have received a statement of claim from a printing company with which I used to do business. They are based in Ontario Canada, we are in BC Canada. I am wondering what rules apply for us? What if we refuse to pay, can they come after our personal assets? What if we dissolve our current BC corporation, can we open up shop again under a different corporate name and avoid collection? It is not that we do not want to pay but rather that financial woes over the past year have put us behind the eight ball and we are unable to meet the demands of the Plaintiff. We have tried to negotiate a settlement but the plaintiffs lawyer refuses to even entertain the thought of anything less than the full amount due. I am not sure what options we have as a corporation in BC but am very concerned that they will come after our dwindling personal assets.
