I am 18 and living with my parents. If I was to get caught growing marijuana outdoors would they be liable? If so, could I turn myself in and take the charge? Also will their property be taken away? Thanks.

Google NC laws on marijuana. The property belongs to your parents so they could be held liable even if you step up. The police may not believe they did not know. Lots of innocent people end up in jail for the actions of those they are associated with. Also, you have now left a trail on your computer stating your intent. Needless to say you are risking your future and your parent's future. A drug conviction will follow you your whole life and impede any and all future endevors.
