Sex Crimes, Sex Offenders Culpability as a driver for an Escort Service

Okay, so I'm new to town and I desperately need a job. Thinking about taking a job as an escort service driver that I've basically been offered. I know it's shady (which isn't to say illegal, but certainly near that line), but it's good money which I frankly need.

The job, as I understand it, would be to drive escorts to their "outcalls" (meaning usually a hotel or a home residence), sit in the car for a few hours while I drink some Red Bulls and listen to some heavy metal, wait for the escort to return to the car, and drive her back to the agency.

Now, I'm not stupid. I know of the behavior in which escort agencies typically engage. (And, from a moral stand point, as long as both parties are of age and willing, I can sleep soundly at night.) The odds are that, on the vast majority of escort outcalls, these women will be engaging in illegal sex solicitation or whatever the heck it's called in California.

However, I don't know where that would put me. Assuming that a) I don't witness any supposed illegal behavior and b) I don't tell the agency/girls that I condone of any supposed behavior, would it be fairly easy for me to rest safely behind a shield of non-culpability (or whatever you'd call it) if the agency were to get busted?

Basically, as far as the details I'm given are concerned, I'm taking these girls and dropping them off at "parties." Now, I've done bachelor party security before where I was actually in the room surveying the scene to both make sure the girls weren't harassed and the girls weren't crossing the legal line (this was in a different state, however). In that situation, it was mostly on the up-and-up. I was trying to actively ensure she didn't break any laws and while sometimes she would disappear to presumably make some more money on the side doing some illicit stuff, I, for the most part, was trying to enforce the law in that situation. I realize that, while I'm not taking any illegal actions, I'm more or less washing my hands of the whole thing.

I guess, to make a long story a little less long, is it to work for a company that is probably doing illicit stuff even though you don't have any way of reasonably knowing about it without busting in the room (and risking your job/safety) to find out the intimate details of what the escort and the man might be doing together?

Any thoughts on this would be nice.

To the best of my knowledge, this is merely a driving job. I realize that if I were to be collecting money from the girl at the end of the night or, worse, ensuring that the client payed the agreed upon amount after services were rendered, I would be exponentially more involved than in the scenario I've outlined.

I'm supposed to meet for the final interview tomorrow, and I probably wouldn't start until this weekend, so I have a few days to listen to your input.

As I'm not really looking to knowingly commit a crime, thanks in advance.

Also, the car I'd be driving would likely be under my name, does that change factors?
