My boyfriend unfortunately I just discovered, has past charges for burglery twice. One was in the second degree and then he has two drug possession charges and a domestic violence aggravated assault charge in SC. These were about six or seven years ago. Dumb question, but is this pretty much make him a lifelong criminal? I am not sure how long he actually spent in prison, but the charges for the burglery read ten years with three suspended and on probation. I only found this stuff out because he has told me a few things, but then I dug deeper and discovered new things. I thought there was a three strikes law also. Fortunately, I am new at dating a criminal and have no idea what all this means! Was he acutally iin prison for seven years? Thanks.
