1. Is it considered a copyright infringement if I sell a list of names from various books, for instance a character's name from a book?
2. Is it okay to list character names and list the name of the author of the book? For example, Character name: Jim from Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain. Is it considered an infringment if I use the names?
3. Is it an infringement if I compile a list of various character names from a particular writer but not list the writer's name?
Is there a general rule/law regarding selling a "compiled list" ? Thank you!!!
