Hello.

I could really do with some help.

Only last week, Me and my friend started to print T-Shirts for our friends initially. We then decided to sell them on ebay, earning us a bit of money, were pretty young and it was only small time, earnign about £2.50 profit of each t-shirt.

I then got an email off another Ebay user, claiming we were breaking copyright laws by printing this one certain t-shirt that contained a rugby clubs logo on. Now im fairly uninformed and it didnt realise I was breaking copyright laws as i simply got them off google.

So the user asked if i knew this and said we could face a big fine for doing it (despite only selling maybe 3).

What is the situation ?

The club havent actaully contacted me yet, but i think this useer has probably "grassed" us up.

Will they cause such bother for such a small amount ?

Chances are it's not worth their time to sue you. If you stop selling the shirts illegally it will likely never amount to anything. Now you know that selling t-shirts with the logos of others is an infringement of copyright and you could be liable for such activity.
