I have made several contacts to the contractor who is holding my money and documents for what I may be charged back for. He has already been paid from directv for the work I have completed, but he has not paid me in full (about $1500) all he has sent was 300. It has been over 3 months now and I am going to take it to court. Need some advice!!

Tell the home owner that you intend to file a lien on his property if the contractor does not pay you.

I didn't do any work for a homeowner it was satellite installations and I was subcontracting through a contractor for directv. He gets paid from directv then pays me, which he hasn't. Can I sue for more that what is owed. Like some kind of damages lost time trying to get him to pay, Intrest, etc.

You can not sue for more than is owed. You can try but suits are not money making operations they are only recovery of loss. I know you have lost time and such, but that doesn't count. Good luck.
