I bought a used vehicle from a dealer. The dealer submitted to the finance company that I'm a independent contractor for Uber. I was looking over the contract and it states that i will not use the vehicle in trade or business without finance company written consent.
Since the dealer clearly knows that I am a driver for Uber and they submitted to the finance company that Uber is who I work for as an independent contractor. Can the finance company claim breach of contract on those grounds?

Breach of contract would be the least of your worries, mate.

What you've affixed your signature could end up bringing fraud charges your way.

In some cases the lender will void the contract because it based upon fraudulent or incorrect information.

Many dealers do this just so they can write the business, do a deal, as it were.

Of course.

There's a big difference between the application for financing and the loan contract.

Did you sign the contract and accept the loan BEFORE you read the contract?
