We have a restaurant in Ca. We were approached by Mission Linen to provide linen for our restaurant. We specifically told the rep we did not want a long term contract. She had us sign a "rental agreement" and took it back to her office not leaving us a copy as she said she had to get some signatures at the office. This was three years ago. Yesterday we went to cancel the service. When I called the office I was told we were in a 5 year contract. They faxed me over the "rental agreement" and at the bottom was a box that required initials stating we had read the back of the agreement which stated that this was a 5 year contract. The problem is that they are not my husbands initials.
We have many samples of his initials on escrow papers etc. and these are definitely not his. It is his signature however the box was initialed by someone at Mission Linen before it was mailed back to us. What are our options.
