Company refuses to release IRA funds

I have an IRA account and I am ready to make my first withdrawal. I asked for a $6000 payment -The owner of the company says he can't give me $6000 but he will give me $1,200. What do I do?

Sounds like you really don't have an IRA, the company has used it and the funds are gone. Talk to an attorney.
