How do I collect from a lawsuit that I won many years ago , just recently I went back to court to try to collect, it was a debtor's hearing, the court did find him for contempt because he did not show up. As far as we have been able to find out he has nothing in his name. If he does not show up for court,and he has nothing in his name, what are the steps that I can take to collect. The lawsuit stems from a trial that he was found guilty of negligence.
