I am very new to law. Pls help.Also pls excuse my English as it is my 2nd language.
My dad passed away in California, Orange County on 9/16/07 according his death certificate. He had 2 accounts with Bank of America. I am trying to close them and get the fund to pay for his funeral and his placement. I am resident in Oregon, I have gone to a Bank of America branch and asked for help. They tried to contact the branch in Brookhurst, Santa Ana( where my dad had his accounts) but no respond. They said there was nothing else they can do and that I have to contact the branch in Brookhurst. However, I tried and tried but I could never get anyone to answer. I am really do not know what to do. I work full time and attend college full time so time is very limited, I do not know where to get help or answer.
Note: The total of these accounts is under $100,000 and these are the only asset he had.
