I have a client that has just file for bankruptcy on June 14, 2007, but this client still owes me over $23,000. This amount was owed well before the bankfuptcy filing date. I have found a form to file a claim [B 10 (Official Form 10) (04/07)] -- is this the correct one I should be using? If it is, I am not sure about which box I should check for the "Classification of Claim." I know that my claim would be considrered "Unsecured," but what are the distinctions between "Unsecured Nonpriority Claim" and "Unsecured Priority Claim"?

My business: I am a Media Agency; what I do is buy air time from National TV stations for my clients. This particular client has purchased several time periods that they have not paid for. And now they are filing for bankruptcy.

My client: A corporation that is over $40million in debt.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I believe you have an unsecured nonpriority claim BUT please stand by for other opinions.
