Child Support and SSI for disabled 19 year old

My stepson who is 19 years old now still recieves child support (230 a week and 50 towards arears a week)on a NJ order because of his disability (aspergers, bipolar, mood disorder causing halucinations, and DID. He was just awarded SSI due to his mental health issues. Are we allowed to collect both the support and the SSI?

All money provided for his support needs to be reported.

How to treat child-support payments made on behalf of an SSI child:

When an eligible child receives child-support payments (including arrearage payments) (as defined in SI 00501.010), the payments are unearned income to the child.
