my brother was on probation for drug possesion, he had been complying for 4 monthes. He went to see his probation officer and at the County probation office the FBI was there, they arrested him for Drug Trafficing between state lines. He was put in federal prison and has been there for 4 years. While in prison he completed a INTENSE DRUG REHAB course, be doing this he is now eligable for early release to a halfway house!!! Here is the problem the halfway house will not except him because he now has a warrant in the county he was on probation in. The warrant is for FAILURE to COMPLY with his probation specifications. Why did this county issue a warrant? He couldnt comply he was in custody with the FBI. Shouldnt this warrant be lifted so he can be eligable to go to a halfway house? He didnt violate anything he has been in prison!!! What can i do to get my brother to a half way house? I really need some advice....can anyone help?
