My husband and I had to file Bk Chapter 7 in Oct 2008. We are scheduled to go to the Meeting with the Creditors on NOv. 6th. Before filing my husband paid a company called Credit Solutions for assistance on his credit cards. Well that only delayed what he owed and ended up costing us more money. Over 6 months period we were paying every payday 14 cash advance places. My hours were cut back at work and we could no longer pay on them. I contacted each place and told them the situation and some of them told me they would have to put the check through and if returned by the bank they could set up a payment arrangement. We closed our checking account because our bank is known for covering checks and charging us the fees. The bank did not completely close the account because we had a small advance with them of 100.00. So a few were covered by the bank. So we had a balance owed to the bank as well. After my husband was served with a summons on 2 credit cards he decided to file bk. We were not sure about the cash advance places. We went to paralegal office and he said we could file on these places as well. I read on internet that any cash advances of 750.00 within 90 days is not dischargeable. Does this apply to payday loans as well? If yes, is it apply to each cash advance place or would it be combined. Combined amount is total around $2200.00. Each place we owe $315.00 or less. Please give legal advice! Thank You.

Any debt acquired (no matter where) is not dischargeable if it is within 90 days from the date of file--- this would include any time of $$ owed (even the bank fees)
