Carrying out the Will

My father passed away not to long ago but right before he died he told my sister and I that he had a Will prepared; and that he was dividing his assets among my sister and I and my three step sisters. My step sisters took care of my father right before he died and when he did pass, they changed every phone number I had and I was not able to get in touch with them. How exactly do I go about finding out if my father had a Will and if he did in fact leave my sister and I any portion of his assets?
