My car payment was 32 days late and without my knowledge by phone or letter my car was reposessed. I received a letter of intent 3 days after my car was taken. Is that legal? And can a finance company legally take your car when it is only 32 days late? I am a single mom who relys on her car. I also will not be able to pay the fees for 1.5 weeks, can they auction my car?
