Car crash suicide

Hi a friend and i got into a very deep conversation last night about suicide since his girlfriend left him. And yes i did call the cops and he was put on a 72 hour suicide hold.. He had brought up crashing his car into her house, i was just curious if he had followed thro with this and did die who would pay for the damages?

Anyway, the owners of the house that was damaged can report it to their homeowners ins. co. & they will go from there.

The typical auto liability policy has the following exclusion:

We do not provide Liability Coverage for any
"insured":
1. Who intentionally causes "bodily injury" or
"property damage".

The owners of the damaged home or their homeowners insurance company would have to go after his "estate." Whether or not the "estate" would be able to pay is anybody's guess.
