I am a Canadian Citizen who is engaged to marry a US citizen. We plan to marry in Canada and then live in the US in Maryland for a short period which is his home town and then we plan on retiring in Florida.

Can anyone give me the correct steps to take and tell me what forms need to be applied for. I've reserached this until I'm blue in the face and I can't even find a lawyer in my area to help me.

Thank you.

Here's an approach... Get married and then have your spouse sponsor you for a K-3 visa. Wait in Canada until your visa is approved (you'll have to go to a consular interview and all). Then, after your visa is approved you can move to the US and go live in Mickey Mouse land for the rest of your life if that's what you want!

Best of luck to you...

I'm not an attorney and this is not legal advise...
