My fiance is Canadian and we wish to marry in the US and live here. We plan to marry and then apply for the paperwork for him to remain. We are in our 60s so no employment is involved.
During the course of the paperwork being in process do we each have the freedom to go back and forth between the US and Canada? He needs to sell his home and possessions. Obviously, given our ages, we don't want to be apart for many months while things are in process.
