Can you partition a cooperative share in Florida. I understand it will be sold on the courthouse steps. However the only allowed buyer is the Coop itself. My ex girlfriend and I purchased a coop share. She paid nothing. We had a verbal agreement that she would would sign it back to me if we split. Ha Ha
Subsequently she was convicted of grand theft. She was just released from State Prison after three years. I do not know where she is. I am trying to find some way to get her name off the share in order to protect my current wife.
