Can the local news air your image without consent?

I was recently interviewed by a local news station during an "investigative piece." The interviewer came to my place of work and harassed myself and my employees. He didn't know who I was and mistook me for another employee, but still slandered myself and my company. He also taped a conversation, which he aired, of another employee.

I live in Oregon, do I have grounds for a defamation case or using my image without my consent?

The news can use your image without consent. If they said something that was FALSE and people believed them, and it damaged you then you can sue for liable or slander depending on whether it was said or written.
