Consumer Law, Warranties Can LLC be dissolved by one of two members?

Hello! I am needing to dissolve a LLC agreement asap, but my partner is claiming to just not agree to disolve if we don't agree to pay a rediculus buyout price. Can I still start the dissolution process? The LLC is between two people.

What state are you in? What does your operating agreement say? Unless there is something to the contrary in your state law or in your operating agreement, it is unlikely that one member acting alone can cause the dissolution of the LLC. However, if you and the other member fail to agree, your state law probably provides for a judicial process for a obtaining a dissolution or other appropriate relief.
