My ex-husband was previously married and had two children with that women. I had carried the health and dental insurance on the children for 5 1/2 years. Their mother only made two payments back to me to pay for the monthly insurance payment that came out of my paycheck every two weeks. We had to pay all the medical bills also. Now that we are legally separated and going through the divorce process, can I go back and collect money from his ex-wife for carrying the health/dental insurance on her children?

I doubt it. Generally, issues of health insurance are between the parents alone. For example, one parent is responsible for providing the insurance and the other reimburses half the cost. If this is how your husband's divorce agreement was worded, then his ex owes HIM the money. He can try to collect the money from his ex, which would then be a marital asset that you may split in your divorce.
