My husband signed a Quit Claim Deed giving me the house we live in three years ago...Now with an issue of divorce, he is threatening to contest it to get his share of half the house..Can he do that under California Law?

It is something that he can present to the court and the judge can take it into consideration or not.

If I want to relinquish property to the company I purchased it from (timeshare company), can I do that without their agreement? I have noticed a stipulation of a monetary exchange, even if $1 on some of the forms. I did find out about this option by surfing net finding someone who did it. The timeshare is free and clear and up to date on maint fees.

You cannot relinquish it back to the seller unless your contract provides that you can. Otherwise, you can only give it back to them if they agree to take it.
