I owned a daycare and could not pay my rent. I went out of business but did not file bankruptcy. My land lord says I still owe a large amount of money. I was an LLC and signed my name on the lease. I did break my lease by two months but I was already behind by a month and a half on my rent. I was wondering if I still need to pay her my owed rent or not?? She threatens to sue me but I do not own anything except my car. I have already paid her $1200 of my personal money and it is draining me finacially. I want to know if I stop paying her can she sue me?? What can I do about this situation??? Thank You
