So I purchased a motorcycle on ebay, on which an auction serves as a legally binding contract (supposedly
). The ad stated "bike runs" "Lots of new parts" "needs a little work", etc. Bike has arrived, does not function in any manner of the word, and needs $2-3k of work just to be functional for riding. The seller of course adamantly denies any wrong doing and says the bike was fine when he had it. I'm now pondering canceling the payment and was wondering what sort of legal repercussions I could be facing for such a move. The amount of the sale was $3,500.00, I'm located in CO and the seller is in GA. Title is still in his name as the bike has to be able to get to the dmv before it can be registered.
