I live in CA and have been told that my situation enables me to file Ch. 7 BK, even though I own my home. I have been surviving on the remnants of an inheritance, which has now run out. I will need to sell my home (in a sort of Life Estate which will enable me to live here until I die...I'm 62). My question is: can I do this during the BK process, or is there a waiting period? Thanks!
