Hi. My husband filed for ch 7 bankruptcy back in 1994 (and got it), before we were married. We were wondering if there is a way to get it off his credit report since it has been over 10 years now? If we can, what do we need to do to get the ball rolling? He has gotten a truck loan through GMAC since then and been current in everything, but that bankruptcy still shows up on his credit report. We live in Ohio (and always have) if that matters. Thanks for any info.

There is no "expungement" for something like this. The way to deal with credit reports that contain information that should not be included is by contacting the credit reporting agency regarding the error and request correction. Information for the "big three" credit reporting agencies is available online and you should be able to find the information on the report.
