   If you have a returned check at a business how many times can they send it to your bank to collect the funds? I heard twice but hastings(the store in which I owe), sent it in three times.

   It depends on the payor (drawee) bank. Most banks will not accept a check that has been dishonored more than twice. There is no set rule or statute or regulation.
