Bank gave out loan information

I applied for a construction loan at my local bank, BankPlus. I was denied because of the loan to value of the loan. My problem is I was not informed by the bank ,my realtor called and informed me that we were denied. I was in the banking business for 5 years and all we were ever told was do not discuss customers information with unauthorized individuals. I did not give the bank permission to do this. Do I have a case?

You likely signed a release with your realtor, who forwarded the info to your bank.
