I claimed chapter 7 in 2002 and included my vehicle. The lien holder stopped contact when I filed, did not dispute in court, and I have never heard from them again. I still have the car but no title. Do I own the car? Am I entitled to the title? I have no idea where I stand. I was advised by my attorney at the time to expect a tow to come and take the car at any time. They never did.
Thanks for any advice you can give me. The car, although still running beautifully, needs to go but I can't even donate it I don't think without the title.
