this question pertains to Ny state law. how can i go about obtaining a certified court order for the release of bail money turned over to the NYS dept of finance. The bail money was turned over to the dept of finance by the Albany City Court criminal part. Would i have to file and serve a formal complaint, or just a motion, or would it automatically be granted upon request to the clerk of the court? thanks in advance. I would also like to know how i can file an informal complaint against the clerk of the court and her employees for being hostile towards me when i was just asking them to perform their job duties and for being unavailable all the time?
