Year 2004 back in PA, I was in a car accident with NO insurance.
Immediately after the accident, I left the country for 6 (six) months to recover at my parents house, contry of birth, Europe.
Upon returning back, I was informed that I was placed for collection by the Hospital.
Because they couldn't contact me, collection agencies reported to the credit birous.
Now, my credit card APR changed from 5.99% to 19.99%, I can't get any credit, I'm turned down by everybody...etc.
Anyway, currently I am making payments on one bill, which is nothing, I understand there are more charges somewhere around $40,000.00 in total... but my question is:
What can I do to have this Adverse removed from my credit report? Collection agency told me that even now that I'm making payments and even if I pay the balance in full, items CANNOT be removed from my credit report; it will stay there until 2011.
Does this mean I have a bad credit seven years from now?
