My jurisdiction is: Vermont

I got pulled over for taking an illegal left turn. I received a ticket for this offense, as well as for having a BAC of over .02 and being underage. I believe I will lose my license for 6 months for this second ticket.
I passed the field sobriety test with flying colors and was allowed to drive my car to park it in my parking lot.

Is there anything I can do to lessen the suspension of my license? Will stuff be mailed to my home address instead of my school address? What should I do?

The criminal charge and the license process are two different cases.

Hire a lawyer.

If you don't hire a lawyer, ask your question of the bureaucrats who issue OPLs in your state.

What statute number are you charged under?

What's an OPL?

The violation code is 21a.

There's another box that says [23]V.S.A.[1216(a)(1)]

The text in [these brackets] is what the officer wrote.

Also, if my license state is cited incorrectly on the ticket, is it void?

I also got a second ticket where my birthdate was cited as the date of offense. Does this mean anything?

Does a license suspension in Vermont mean I can't drive in Minnesota?
