BAC Bill pay
For 7+ years my mortgage was automatically debited through bill pay from my account through another bank. When Countrywide was bought by BAC this relationship did not change until a few months ago.
BAC discontinued automatic billing( account says Discontinued by Biller) and did not inform me of this change.
I did not view this monthly because it was automatic and i have more than one property.
Property fell 30 days late and this was reported to credit agencies.
Property was promptly paid in full but i cannot get BAC to take this off my credit report or admit that there never would have been any problem if they didn't change the way they got paid without informing me.
I recently tried to get a car loan to trade in my "cash for clunker" for 4500 and could not obtain suitable financing because of the recency of this.
Can i sue for deceptive trade practices? or in Small claims court for the 4500 that i couldn't use?
