Attorney Threatens suit if I file Grievance

Recently, an attorney who iis holding an escrow check for me refused to disclose how or when he would release the funds to me. The only answer he would provide was he would send the check when he got around to it. I sent him an email saying i would file a grievance if he would not provide me the details to have the money released, his reply was he will file a mailcious lawsuit against me if i file a grievance. My reply to him ,I think this is why their is a grievance board so attorneys can't act this way. He challenged me to try him, i just want whats mine $ 10,600.00 in his escrow account.
