Assault & Battery assault?

My roomate filed charges on me for hitting her.
- she slept with my fiance

nobody was there to witness anything.
I got a call from the police to give my side of the story.
I havent called them back yet.

she has marks.. i dont

What is the best thing to do to get this to go away or at least not get anything on my record?

Speak with a defense attorney if you get charged with assault, dump your fiance and take anger management classes.
