My son was arrested in June of 2009 for Conspriacy to Manufactor Meth, Poss. Drug Para., Attempting to Elude, and Reckless Driving. Due to my son whom was in the Army had just got back from Iraq and only had been in the state for olny 48hrs all of the charges were dropped except for the reckless driving and we are paying the fine for that charge. A week ago my son was arrested on a grand jury indictment for Poss. of a Control Substance. When he went to the araingment they change the charge to Manufacting Meth. What is the legal law about changing the charge in which he was not indicted for?
He cousin that was in the vehicle with him was being watched by the local sheriffs department for over 2 years. That was the first time my son had seen him in over 2 years and was only giving him a ride.

We all should be very careful about our associations.

The DA can amend the charge anytime prior to trial.

His cousin has probably ratted your son out.

The cousin played Judas to your Jesus.
I've seen this many times.
Dude gets caught and sells out his mother, brother, father, etc... those druggies just don't care who they hurt.
He sold the lad out to the DA for a deal.
