Arguably two of the best movies ever made are The Godfather 1 & 2. I don't think anyone thinks that Al Pacino's character was a great guy.

One of the best movies, The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre starring Jason Robards
Godfather was great as well along with Goodfellas and Casino
Interesting that Tony "the ant" spilotro knew Capone's niece. Martin Scorsese can direct a mob movie. Oh Tony Soprano too, although he did get whacked at the end but they didn't show it.
I have seen them all, guess I am one of those crazies... LOL
