another verbal agreement

Hi! I had a hairsalon and had to close it. The LLC still exists, but the location is closed. Several hairdressers / nail people were (supposed to be) paying me rent everymonth to use parts of the salon. A couple of them were not able to pay rent everymonth and I agreed (verbally) with them that they were going to pay me later for the missing months.
Now, I need the money and they claim they don't owe it to me because we never signed anything... ...
I have accounting that shows that they were paying some of the time, and it shows gaps when the rent was not paid. But that is the only "proof" I have. Somebody else was taking care of the bookekeeping, so she also knows of the agreement and can also vouch for the honnest accounting.
Do I have enough material proof to take them to small court claim? What if they don't even show up?

Thanks!
Henri

Take them to small claims court and let the judge decide if you have a case.
