Door to door alarm co. rep.had special rate for customers who would display
yard sign for 2 years. And we signed up for the deal, after 1 month our checking
acct. was debited 2 times in that first month. We contacted the company and
was told that the matter would be taken care of. Over the next 2 months same
thing,one difference, checks were being returned, because of the companys
double charge. So I cancelled and was unaware that cancelation of the contract was still binding.It has since been sent to collections. Our question is
that they broke the contract first by not charging our account as to what was agreed,not just once but three times. Is the contact still binding ? Plus we still
are displaying their yard sign. Thanks for any advice !
