My fiancé and I are going to Missouri for a little over a week. His dad passed away 12 years ago and his step mom just passed away. She wouldn't let him have anything from his dad when he passed. We don't know where his dad's will is but his uncle should have it, said it all goes to my fiancé. If we can't find it does everything with his dad's name on it revert back to him? There were never any other children and she has no family at all. What can we do? We plan to go through the house the day after we get there. Are we allowed to clear the house out? Like I said, the house and the bank still have his dad's name. To make matters worse. We can't get there until next week and it "appears" the neighbor it taking liberties with getting in the house and taking things.
