Hello!
Long story short.
CRA mailed me a bill that I do not recognize (turned out she filed something in error and she claims that CRA won't let her fix it??) and she repeatedly told me not to pay for it and she is looking into it, I trusted her so I passed everything to her...then b/c I didn't pay the bill, CRA wants to audit me now.
As a result of bad advice from my accountant, my company ended up being audited by CRA. She claimed that CRA's mislead her and not her fault. She prep'ed the audit for me and decided to invoice me today for the audit. I don't think I should need to pay for that b/c she was the one that made the boo boo ...she took all my paperwork and won't give it back until I pay her...can she do that? Not fair!!!
The worst thing is, she was recommended to me by a friend and it turns out that she is only a book-keeper and is only registered to BBB....grrrrrrrr
