About a sex crime

My friend was seeing this guy and he didn't tell her that he was still seeing his ex. Well yesterday my friend called me crying becaue this guys ex called her and told her that she had been with him and that she has herpes and that my friend needs to get tested. So my friend called this guy and he told her that that was a lie and that he wasn't going to take her to a clinic to get tested and that he didn't want to see her any more. Can my friend press charges against him for not telling her that he could have herpes when they decided to have sex?

no it wasn't me it was a friend of mine. I would never cheat on my hubby and my friend is not married.

Your friend cannot do anything because she does not even know if this guy has the virus, or if she has the virus. You cannot press charges (for what though, I do not even know) for a rumor.

All your friend can do is have protected sex, and get herself tested if she is concerned.

This is not a sex crime.
